Hello there dear blog friends and visitors,
I get so inspired when I see all these Autumn posts
from the Northern hemisphere.
Pumpkins, candle lights, and an endless amount of fall decor
- so yummy!!
The period before and after Halloween
and up until it's time to bring out the Christmas decor
is one of my favourite time of the year,
when it come to creating a cozy atmosphere.
Even though it's well into Spring here in Australia,
I still decorate with lots of dark earthy colours,
bringing pine cones in from the outdoors,
making the house feel warm and inviting.
I'm starting to look forward to Christmas,
Anyone else?!

I can't wait to start decorating for Christmas! So many ideals going through my head. Love your cozy fall decorations.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely a transition time. Good for reflection! I start decorating for Christmas on the weekend after Thanksgiving. Your colors are gorgeous and I imagine its a natural feeling to decorate that way at this time of year as you would have in Scandinavia. I too, feel a bit displaced in Florida where it's really still summer and not at all like Autumn as it is in Ohio, where I hail from.
ReplyDeleteI can hardly wait myself. Time seems such a blur, I think I'm going to start putting up my Christmas decor, just so I'll have time to enjoy it!!! Love the fall touches that you've added, so inviting!

Such a lovely vignette. I love to see a collection of candles put together, just looks so perfect to me. Fabulous patina on the candlesticks too. Beautifully done. Thanks tons for linking to Inspire Me. Hugs, Marty
