15 Sept - a very busy day!

Happy 10th Birthday, Jonah! ☺

Big smiles...

15th of September was indeed a very busy day... Firstly, it was Jonah's birthday and this year, it was double digits!! Secondly, it was Cross Country running for both seniors and juniors at school, so I had to spend pretty much the whole day at school with only a short break at 1pm when I decided to take the bus to Garden City and have some me-time for an hour before it was time to get the kids from school and then travel home.

Time for the annual Cross Country...

♥ 10... Wow, can't believe my first born is already 10 years old ♥

Jonah and Lily

Jonah had an awesome day - first birthday dinner at local pizza place as requested, Mormor (maternal grandmother) rang on Skype and wished him a very Happy Birthday - and then opening of presents at home... We didn't have time for a party as it was a normal school day, but we'll organise some kind of get-together with friends later on.

A few weeks back, we visited The Scandinavian Festival in Brisbane...

Always a pleasure catching up with some of my Swedish friends. Here I am with Yenny from Noosa, owner of Dirt by Earth. ♥

Rochedale State School Fête 2016

This year's fête was a short lived event - The weather gods weren't on our side at all! The sky in the photo looks amazing, but on the day it wasn't as pretty... and at 4pm-ish the sky opened up totally, the rides closed down and we all had to take shelter in the gym. Yes, we all got totally soaked... ☺
