The first candle is lit. Only three Sundays to go.
Christmas will be here before we know it.
We started decorating today.
The wreaths are up.
My Swedish Advent candle holder is spreading light in the window,
Had a really lovely day decorating and listening to Christmas music.

Hi Pernilla,
ReplyDeleteYour decorating is well under way and I like your advent candles in the window. I usually do advent too but not this year. Too much going on. Although we are doing Advent in our church; such a lovely time of reflection. Thank you for sharing at my HOME.
Blessings,
Sandi
Your Advent post is lovely :) We did this when I was young and when my boys were young as well. A wonderful tradition! :)
ReplyDeleteOh this is lovely. It is pretty funny found your blog because I am in a Scandinavian kick right now, thanks to my fiance (his family is from Norway) and I am learning so many new beautiful traditions that really invite you to cherish the season and its true meaning.

So charming. Reminds me of my Swedish grandmother's house. Happy memories.
