Friday the 21st of March is the annual Harmony Day,
but also the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence.

Jonah's school had a big event on.
The Queensland Education minister visited and everything was
broadcast through FM Radio Channel 97.3 and TV's Channel 9.

Harmony Day 21 March is a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home - from the traditional owners of this land to those who have come from many countries around the world. By participating in Harmony Day activities, we can learn and understand how all Australians from diverse backgrounds equally belong to this nation and enrich it! Source
The 2014 National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence is on Friday 21 March 2014. This annual day provides a focus for all schools to say Bullying. No way! and to strengthen their existing everyday message that bullying and violence at school are not okay at any time. Source
21st of March is also the International Day of Down Syndrome Day

Bullying is a subject that is in the news here in the US with ways for children to cope with it, and spreading the message of anti-bullying.
