Enjoying the blue

Hello there,
all you lovely people that stop by and visit!

I dressed up my rustic dining room table for the weekend.

Normally you can see homework, crayons or a few left-over toys
that never seem to find their way back to the toy box...
- ah, the joy of parenthood!

My antique Swedish wooden tray with pine cones - perfect for Autumn
and one of my many blue table runners from Sweden.

Different shades of blue.

My late grandmother wouldn't dream about not ironing a table runner or a table cloth.
I'm not too fussy... ☺
lol
I mean,
I love patina and imperfection!

Hope you have a great weekend

  1. Good morning....I just LOVE your pretty blue runner. So colorful and cheery. :)
My mother-in-law, bless her heart, always ironed her SHEETS...can you imagine?
If anything is wrinkled around Sweet Nothings, it just goes back into the dryer and then it comes out all pretty. lol

  3. Sometimes wrinkles add a touch of class. I like your blue table runners. I iron nothing much anymore. If you take it right out of the dryer, not necessary.

  4. I'm with you on the casual approach to decorating, the blue table runner looks great. I like your row of Dala horses in the window.

  6. Hi Pernilla,

Thanks for sharing that beautiful blue runner. I seldom iron; I always say it's against my religion! (LOL) Thank you for your kind comment.

    Have a Happy Blue Monday!
