In the middle of our Australian Winter, we celebrate the Swedish Midsummer.
20°c/68°F, beautiful blue sky and warm sun - perfect winter's weather☺
Yesterday we celebrated an early Midsummer
with the Swedish Club 'Swedes Down Under'.
Heaps of people, dancing and great Swedish food.
My Swedish friend Gunilla and I, plus our blue and yellow kids☺
It was an awesome day in sunny south-east Queensland.
So nice to keep the Swedish traditions alive in the country down-under.
Next Sunday it's time to celebrate again,
this time it's Midsummer at IKEA.
Stay tuned for some more blue and yellow Swedishness☺

It was a great day. I was there too! The smorgastarta sold out much too soon. I was supposed to sing with the choir, but have not been able to get along to practices, so just watched yesterday. It was a great crowd. Bring on Ikea next weekend!!
