Six years ago...

I received the shocking news that my darling Dad had passed away 

very suddenly and very unexpectedly - at the early age of 62,

two months before Jonah was born.

My whole world went to pieces.

He was my best friend. We used to email each other every day
and spoke on the phone as often as we could☺

Not a day goes by without me thinking of him.

Two and a half and she already knows how to open up You Tube and pick what to watch.

'Dora little lamb' with the song 'Mary had a little lamb' is a favourite ☺

The text on her shirt says 'little sister' in Swedish,

a gift from her great aunty ☺

Second week of the holidays

One week of mostly rain was enough... now the second week of the holiday has started and finally we are getting some sun - yay! Time to spend some time outdoors and enjoy the wonderful temperatures.

Homemade soup for two

During our winter here in Queensland, I'm in need of heart warming food - my absolute favourite at the moment is our homemade tomato soup. We make it at the same time as we make our Chicken Bolognese, two meals in one, and so yummy!
