White with a touch of red n blue

- No ordinary kitchen towels... ☺

Hope you all had a really great weekend!
Monday morning is here and the sun seems to be hiding a bit...

 My favourite tea towels,
all with family monograms and initials.
So much history... ♥

Does anyone make the effort to create beautiful embroidery like this nowadays?

Have a happy week everyone!

  18. My favorites Pernilla, red and cream! I love any towels with stripes. I do still embroider on towels now and then. But I feel it is becoming a lost art. Thanks for sharing with SYC.

    1. Hi Jann,
Do you use a special embroidery thread to keep it from being washed & bleached out??

  19. These are beautiful! Thank you for joining HSH!

  20. I love your beautiful towels and the embroidered initials, but how do you keep the initials from being bleached out when washed???

    1. These towels have been washed over and over again during the years as they are over 70 years, but since I got them I only use them as a display in my kitchen. If I would wash them, I'd use a non-bleach washing liquid. :)

  21. I love these embroidered initial towels, but how do you keep the initials from being bleached out when washed??
