Yesterday we celebrated Mother's Day with a Pizza night at the kids grandparents place.
Today we continued to celebrate here at home too. I whipped up a Swedish treat, a Princess Cake - my absolute favourite cake; sponge cake with raspberry jam, vanilla custard, whipped cream and on top, a layer of green marzipan. Yum! Every day is Mother's Day right?!
In a couple of weeks I'm going to enjoy my second Mother's Day for the year, the Swedish one... Maybe I'll make the same cake then too, or something completely different. Stay tuned ☺

Hope you all have/have had a wonderful Mother's Day with your loved ones.

Your Princess Cake sounds so good and I love the way the marzipan icing looks. It's almost like a little piece of art. What a wonderful way to celebrate Mother's Day!
