Like gold in the sunshine
We had a public holiday yesterday, thanks to The Queen's Jubilee. Normally her birthday would have been the occasion for an extra day off school/work, but the Queen's birthday will be celebrated in October from now on. It was lovely with a long weekend, especially when hubby only worked one out of the three days, which is very rare due to his work. The weather wasn't best, but we enjoyed a barbecue lunch in a nearby park where the kiddies could play on Saturday. On Sunday the kids and I were indoors all day because the rain was pouring down from early until late. We had an indoor day yesterday too. It was grey, wet and cold, perfect conditions to stay in the pj's all day - and I did! ☺
Thank you for all your messages... and a BIG welcome to my new followers too!!
Hope you'll enjoy my Swedish corner as much as I do!

Amber never looked so good - I loved how you described it - like sunshine - the color combination and the furniture is beautiful! Kathy
ReplyDeleteYour amber glass is gorgeous. I don't see much of that anymore. Beautiful vignette. Thanks tons for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteHi Pernilla,
ReplyDeleteYou have created a wonderful amber vignette! Love those amber candlesticks! Thank you so much for stopping to visit me.
So nice you had a good holiday! You have a nice collection of amber glass. The blue flower really sets it off.
ReplyDeleteIt is so cold here too,but did get a walk today. That always is a good warmer. I didn't know that the holiday was moving to October.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a nice thing to do,staying in PJ's all day. Very relaxing.
I like the amber glass. I have clear glass candle sticks like those, but the amber are much prettier. xx
Your amber pieces are very pretty and I like how you've displayed them in your home. You've inspired me to try to find a way to use the amber pieces we have. Seems I never can find a place where they show up since most of our furniture is dark. Guess I need to look harder for a special place to put them. I really appeciate you joining Your Cozy Home Party each week!
ReplyDeleteFina bilder och vilken härlig blå färg blomman har. Må så gott.
