Milk and Cookies...

The Swedish Santa (Tomten) was here during the night and left heaps of Christmas presents for the kids... ☺ Oh, boy are they going to be excited when they wake up!

Tomten liked his milk and gingerbread cookies... ☺
It's too hot for Swedish Christmas porridge!

Merry Christmas to all of you!

Christmas in the bedroom

Soft reds make the bedroom feel a bit Christmasy.

Most textiles in the bedroom are bought at IKEA.

Love this cross stitch pattern, so simple and pretty.

A sea of yummy cushions

Funky red and white curtains, not really Christmasy as such,
but they have the same soft red so they fit into this Christmas bedroom.

Happy Holidays!

Seasons Greetings from me ☺

Thanks for coming♥
See you soon!

Fourth of Advent!

It's such a nice tradition to light one candle each Sunday. Today it's time to light the fourth and last one before Christmas.

A few pomanders which spread a divine Christmas scent throughout the house...
Oranges and cloves, such an amazing combo!

Hope you all have a wonderful day ♥

No curtains, but at least light...

I feel like time is running out, so much to do before Christmas Eve - wrapping the kids presents, cooking traditional Swedish Christmas food and make the final touches here and there. I think the kitchen curtain project has to wait... Sorry, I really want to have them finished, but there is not enough time... ☺

At least our window looks cozy and Christmassy at night... I almost think I'm back in Sweden where every window either has a star or an electric candle holder lighting up the darkness of winter.

Can you imagine walking down the street and every house, or every window in an apartment block has pretty Christmas lights like this. It's so beautiful. That's Christmas for me.

Magical, isn't it?

Took a couple with the flash too so you can see how cozy it is in our
sit down kitchen area.

The wooden red Christmas star comes from IKEA. I bought it years ago.
The electric Advent candle holder on the window sill was a gift from my all time
best friend/chosen sister in Sweden♥

I can live without the top Christmas curtains for a few more days,
maybe we'll fix them up in the beginning of the year...
or in time for the next Christmas ☺
Stay tuned!! lol

Our Christmas tree 2012

Jonah and Lily
The Prince and Princess of Christmas ☺

Our 6 year old son took this photo.
He's already a great photographer
- just like my dad, my kids' late grandfather!

The tree is finally decorated!

But wait, there is more... hubby just added 50+ (!) red baubles...
More pix tomorrow of the finished xmas tree!

No room is left untouched...

Christmas in the toilet.
Even this little room has been decorated in true Christmas spirit.

A sea of red wooden candle holders from Sweden

The Swedish Santa is called 'Tomten'.
There are always a few helping out around the house...

Some awesome Christmas reading!
