Prep Graduation 2012
The school holidays are here.
Last Thursday our son graduated from Prep.
It was a big day for all of us.
At the end of January he is starting Year 1. How exciting... ☺

3rd of Advent
My goodness, the weeks are flying by so quickly - way too quickly. Is it just me, or do you all think that? It's already time to light the third candle of four! Only one more week to go... Christmas is coming!
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the friends, families and others
affected by the horrific school massacre.

Books à la Christmas
My philosophy is that you can never have too many Christmas books
(or cushions, candle holders or interior design books for that matter ☺)
In these books I find my sanctuary - whenever I feel stressed,
I flip through a book or two and instantly the stress is gone lol

Lucia 2012
Happy Lucia everyone!
It's a tradition for kids in Sweden to dress up as Lucia and surprise their parents with coffee, saffron buns and gingerbread cookies in the morning... A nice tradition. ☺
Somehow, I'm not sure if that ever going to happen in our family cause I'm awake before the sun comes up lol
My kitchen window is still decorated in white... no changes there yet, apart from
some pretty decor. Maybe I'll get time during the weekend to change the curtains,
we'll see... ☺
