Swedish Corner Down Under Christmas Home

The school holidays are well and truly on their way to the finishing line. The new school year starts on Monday the 22nd here in south-east Queensland. We've had a very relaxing Summer/Christmas holiday. I haven't been blogging much here, mainly at Swe-Aussie Xmas, my Christmas blog.

Welcome to our Swedish Corner Down Under Christmas home!

Let's start in the lounge room..

Candles and wreaths

Our Yuletide Bed Room

I just adore our red and white Christmas bedroom with snowflakes, cute Christmas jumpers and cozy cushions.

Merry Christmas in Swedish

Happy Yule

Posted this photo on my Instagram. I had just purchased a red and white curtain, and not knowing where to use it, I simply draped it over the bed for a festive yet subtle country look... ♥

As a tradition, Swedes don't remove the Christmas decorations until 20 days after Christmas, but I usually keep it up much longer as I enjoy it so immensely... ♥ I can't get enough of the red, I love the red everywhere and I love the warmth - even if it's 36°c/97°F outdoors. I love the way the Christmas decor makes me feel in the heart!

- Hope you like my home as much as I do.
Thank you for stopping by ♥
