Well, not really a whole day... Half an hour more likely... It was so hot so Jonah asked to go home after 30 minutes... 😎

A woop woop holiday

Finally school holidays - and we are so lucky that we have friends out in the countryside. Jokingly, I always say we're going to 'woop woop' when we are going to their place, but I do it with so much love - I totally enjoy leaving suburbia and heading out there to see them. The peace, the quiet (not really...lol) and of course the scenery! We spent two days and one night with our friends, and we had so much fun!!

We started out our holiday with fun times in the nearby public pool...

It was such a hot day.

We had a picnic lunch and lots of laughter.

Jonah's 11th birthday - Part 3

Last day of celebrating Jonah's 11th birthday - and what a birthday weekend it was!

Today we celebrated Jonah's birthday in the park with friends and family!

It was a gathering of childhood friends and school friends.

A lovely mix of pre-teens...

In two years, Jonah will actually be 13!!

He will be a teenager...

Jonah had a wonderful day in the park with lots of presents and plenty of cake!

But, I think the best part was sharing the day with his best friends ☺

... and then off to the skate bowl!

Jonah's 11th birthday - Part 2

Time for cake!

Jonah requested a Swedish delicacy called "Kladdkaka" - a sticky and gooey chocolate mud cake which is totally scrumptious. The cake was served with whipped cream... and it all disappeared way too quickly! Yum ☺
