Scandinavian Festival 2014

Wow, the year has gone fast. The 14th of September, it was once again time for the annual Scandinavian Festival in Brisbane! We couldn't have ask for better weather - it was quite warm and not too sunny☺ - Perfect Spring weather! Lots of people and heaps to look at - a lovely way to spend a Saturday together.

so it was a thrill to watch my kids have a go.

Us Swedes, We love to 'fika' which means taking a break - having coffee and cake with good friends. It's part of life - a sweet, sweet life! Yum☺

Hot and bothered... and slightly tired at the end of the afternoon☺


One of the highlights of the festival was the cover band ABBA Live.


Before heading home, Jonah wanted to take some photos with his class mascot, Patrick the Panda.It's not every panda which gets to attend the Scandinavian Festival... ☺

I'm already looking forward to next year's festival. I'm pretty sure the year will go very fast, it normally does.
