Halloween 2016

So, 

We don't really celebrate Halloween... 

We don't attend any Halloween parties, nor do we go trick or treating, 

BUT

I love decorating in the house!

The kids got a surprise coming home from school this afternoon as I had decorated the dining room with Halloween decor...

Lily even got dressed up... ☺

What an awesome way to start the new week!

Oh, how I love three day weekends.

This morning I didn't have to get up before 5am 

- but I still did. 

Love the peace and quiet on my own.

I didn't have to rush the kids to get ready and get to the bus.

I had breakfast sitting down and was able to feel really relaxed.

What a great way to start the new week!

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Dad!

Today, my dad would have been 73 years old. It's hard to imagine him as a 70 year old as he was only 62 when he passed away in July 2006... but I think he'd look the same, only a bit more grey ♥

Back to life - Back to reality

The school holidays are now well and truly over. We are back on the school buses for another 9+ weeks. Yep, it's Christmas holidays/Summer holidays in 9 weeks and 4 days - not that I'm counting or anything lol
